Just when you thought designer collaborations with the more reasonably priced clothing stores couldn’t get any better, LA based designer Brian Lichtenberg is teaming up with Forever 21 to launch it’s first designer collaborated line. Trying to shed its designer copycat image, Lichtenberg will create a line exclusively for the retail giant.
Celebrity fans of Brian Lichtenberg include: Beyonce, M.I.A., the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, and Lady Gaga.
Launching August 13, the collection will include both men and women’s tee’s and tanks and cost $14.80-$14.90. A more modest version of Gaga’s tape ensemble outfit from her “Telephone” music video will be available in a tank top version. Lichtenberg says, “There are only so many places that a woman can wear a glitter dress; I want to open up my brand.” (WWD)
